1. Collecting information about you
Geeks Online collects personal information from customers, employees, contractors, shareholders and other individuals. We will only collect this information when it is necessary for business purposes.
The main types of information Geeks Online collects include the contact details of customers such as email address, name, address, date of birth and gender. We may also collect information about work we will or have done for you and about the equipment and IT systems you use.

We may retain your service details in secure customer management systems. This is so that we have a record of past jobs so that we can diagnose problems faster.
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that contact, including making audio recordings of conversations you may have with Geeks Online employees at our contact centre. You will always have the option to ask us not to make such recordings.

When you provide your personal information to us, Geeks Online will give you the choice as to whether or not you wish to receive further information about special offers, promotions, and changes to our products and services. If you indicate that you do not wish to receive these, we will not contact you further for these purposes. Please allow 28 days for your request to be processed.
